About Us
Swingset is a Houston-based jazz combo performing instrumental tunes from the Great American Songbook, including swing, ballad, and latin selections. . Band members are Ian Cain (piano), Steve Colvin (drums), Len Trombetta (sax), and Ed Vanderbilt (bass). Available as a quartet, trio, or duo.

We performed at Winter Street Studios in Sawyer Yards shortly before their unfortunate fire, and again at a benefit for the affected artists. We are happy to return to Winter Street this Fall for their grand re-opening, with the date TBD.

We know we haven't been performing in public lately - one of our members is facing some health challenges. We hope to be back at it soon!
